A diverse workforce is one of the most important factors in the sustainable development of GlobalWafers. GlobalWafers has a worldwide presence and a "workplace friendly" concept that does not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, or ethnicity. We not only provid friendly working conditions, but also care about the harmonious development of society and the environment.
We comply with the human rights protections enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the Global Compact, the International Labor Organization Convention, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, and other United Nations conventions. We operate in compliance with all local labor laws and regulations in each country.
Meanwhile, we do not tolerate any form of slavery. We implement safe labor conditions, and insist that all business transactions, business relationships, supply chain activities, and personnel recruitment and employment are ethical and based on integrity.
We also prohibit any unlawful discrimination against employees on the basis of race, class, language, ideology, religion, party affiliation, national origin, place of birth, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, marriage, appearance, facial features, national origin, disability, pregnancy, union membership, masked veteran status, etc., in recruitment and on the job.
2021 We have no human rights complaints or no labor disputes. Further, 99% of new employees complete education and training on workplace bullying and sexual harassment prevention within 30 days of employment.

Employees’ health is an essential factor of maintaining work-life balance and being productive at work. By multiple health care methods and health promotion activities, SAS creates a healthy and friendly workplace for employees.

SAS sets up health care center at each site, recruits specialized nurses, and provides monthly occupational medicine clinic in the company to offer complete health care service and guard employees’ health as a responsibility of the corporate.

An enjoyable workplace could not only enhance employees’ joy at work but promote their working efficiency. SAS places an high value on providing a pleasing and safe working environment for all employees. Therefore, we formulate the workplace violence prevention policy to protect everyone’s safety, physical and mental health.
